Living in Tampa...

Well, it has been forever since the last post (and, yes, Heath, I promise to post a photo soon!!). :) Things are great here in Tampa. I am totally exhausted these days. School started up again last week and all is well there. I really like my students this semester and my classes (the ones that I take) are great as well. Recently, in the Victorian Lit. class, we read Wuthering Heights...that is the most wonderful book. I think that if you read it and don't get it that you have never really been in love. Now we are reading Vanity Fair. It is good as well, but I am only 200 pages into it (several more hundred to go!).

As far as Tampa is concerned, I am still trying to find my way around. The USF campus is so busy that I have to get there very early if I want to find a place to park (parking is terrible). Other than that, I have found lots of good places to go for fun. The city's downtown is not that far away from where I live. So far, the heat has been tolerable...not great, but tolerable! I hope the "red tide" situation clears up soon as well...I really want to go to the beach.

Well, everyone take care...I promise to write more!

So, apparently the "crimson tide" is following you. Good to hear things are good in Tampa. SLIS is still SLIS with all the fun people and the people you wish would disappear (I don't think I need to elaborate...remember Young Adult?).
